A wonderful small cafe set back in a quiet neighborhood in vacaville. When i stepped inside the place smelled like my abuela’s kitchen so i immediately knew something was going to be good. You can’t go wrong with the cuban sandwich, although they serve a killer pan con bistec and the ropa vieja plato is really good. everything was perfect and the owner is very sweet. My abuela would be jealous.
I came with a friend who I hadn't seen in a while and we both really enjoyed every part of our meal. I'm spacing on the name of my dish, but it was one of the traditional Cuban plates and it was absolutely fantastic. They also had exceptional coffee. We were thankful for the great staff who provided wonder service and let us hang out and catch up.
Great coffee and pastries. Haven’t had too much of their food yet but so far i have not been disappointed. The sisters here are very considerate and has a family vibe on the place. I enjoy this place and hope they remain consistent in what they offer.
The food is amazing but the people here are even better. We tried a little of everything meat pies, ropa vieja, pollo de Plato, fries, croquetas, papas rellenos. I would say definitely try the meat pies, pollo de Plato, and ropa vieja. The rest you could live without. The people here are lovely they are attentive and patient with us and looking at the menu over and over again and even came out with chicken papas rellenos that were pretty good for us to just try. I would also say try the smoothies definitely worth it.
